How do I print what is on the monitor screen only? I know there is a button at the top right for that, but it does not activate the task by clicking on that by itself...what else do I do to get the print response? Thanks.

As I recall, your printer has a special option for this. If you could get me the model number, I could research it.

The model printer is an HP Officejet J4580 All-in-One...I had thought you did this just from the keyboard itself...but I assume that I am incorrect? I really had thought you used the button I referenced to...the "Prnt/Scr" button on the top right side of the keyboard...but alone it does not do the job. Anyway, thanks for your help.

The print screen button only takes a screen shot of what you are looking at. To get the image you captured to print, you have to open either a photo program or word document and paste it (ctrl-v) onto the blank document.

I am wanting to say there is an HP printer icon on your web browser (Firefox or Internet Explorer) tool bar. You push that button and the print area option come up. I am still looking for the specific method.

Looks like it is called HP Smart Web Printing

You already have it installed, but you can re-download it here, http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pr ... en&h_cc=us

I looked at the manual for your printer and it did not show anything helpful.

Thanks but how do I use it? I recall you did it one day when you were here and showed it to me...but can't remember what else you did other than hitting the one button...but it was simple I thought. I don't know how to do a re-load...too confusing...would prefer not to...can you just tell me what you did that time? I'm sorry to be so much trouble...but thx u

I wanted to touch base to see if the last option brought up that scalable window?

Looking back I do see that you did describe what you just called and had me to do but I did not follow it from your email. But after telling me verbally, I was able to execute the process and it worked! Thanks so much ...I greatly appreciate you taking such good care of me! This made my day - hope you have a good one too!
